Workshop Description

Hanko or a personal seal is a symbol of identity, authority, and tradition in Japan. The owner uses it for correspondences, marks a business transaction, places ownership or sign off a piece of his works.


Let’s learn how to make one using a single KATAKANA character, an eraser and some tools (as listed in the workshop form).


REQUIREMENT: Some knowledge of Japanese Language


This workshop will be conducted in simple Japanese with some English.
