All questions would be based on the above theme.

Part 1 : Japanese Language Knowledge (50%)

Part 2 : Japanese Culture (30%) Japanese Society (20%)

The compettion consistd of four (4) Levels held over 2 sessions.

Morning Session: 

'Junior' BEN and Ume Ben

All contestants will go through these two levels. The top 50 contestants will proceed to the next 2 levels

Afternoon Session:

Take BEN and Matsu BEN

Top 50 contestants will vie for the title of the competition.
