4KOMA Story Impromptu Speaking

The Competition

Spontaneous speaking requires the ability to quickly organize ideas and deliver them convincingly.

This competition challenges participants to think on their feet, use their imagination, and demonstrate public speaking skills in Japanese.

Each contestant receives 4 visual cards: 2 are revealed beforehand in the competition’s rules, while the remaining 2 are revealed during the competition.

Using these 4 cards, contestants have 7 minutes to create and present a story in Japanese to the judges. They may shuffle, resize, and reorient the visuals to develop their narrative.

During the competition, participants will use Google Slides to arrange their cards and may use an online dictionary.
