Theme: 「人」or「入」

These two kanji may look very similar—but how do you tell them apart, and more importantly, how can you remember them?

Join this creative challenge by teaming up with a partner to design a Kanji Map Poster focused on either 「人」 or 「入」. Your poster should be visually appealing, informative, and make it easy for others to understand and remember the kanji—how it's written, how it's used, and its meaning.

✨ Do a little research online

✨ Use storytelling or mind-mapping techniques

✨ Make your poster engaging and educational

The top 12 posters will be selected for a final presentation round where each team will pitch their creation to the judges. Presentations may be in Japanese or a mix of Japanese and English.

(Note: The presentation itself will not be scored, but it can influence the judges’ final evaluation of your poster!)

Why Join?

This competition is designed to spark your interest in kanji and help you find fun, memorable ways to learn them. Along the way, you’ll also improve your skills in research, organization, creativity, and teamwork.
