Instead of the typical fish scales, the cloud patterns used on the KOINOBORI indicate that the KOINOBORI are soaring high into the sky. This reflects not only the determination of JLfest participants to excel in every event they take part in but also the aim of the festival in providing such opportunities and motivation to the participants.
